About Me

Ariel is Taiwanese-American and a born and bred San Francisco Bay Area native. She is a graduate of Brandeis University with a B.S. in Biology and Anthropology, and an incoming medical student this Fall. Although she is based in the SF Bay Area, she also considers herself a Bostonian after living on the East Coast for four years. Her passions include: end of life care, geriatrics, living as a Christian in a postmodern society, ethnocentric fieldwork, and more. She grew up attending church with her mom but only became a Christ-follower in her junior year of college. She hopes to document her faith journey and other random ramblings here. She is also a staff writer for Prospective Doctor, a premier online resource for pre-meds.

Fun fact: Ariel is an ESTJ (“The Executive”) and a Type 8 (“The Challenger”) on the Enneagram.
